New look and feel for Norges Skiforbund

As of today, Skiforbundet will be using a new visual brand profile on their outings. The clean new look and feel is based on the snow crystal, the very foundation of skiing.

Today, the Norwegian Ski Association has implemented new brand identity. It includes a new logo and a new visual profile based on the snow crystal, which they call the very basis of the existence and origin of skiing.

The new, modern brand represents the great importance of skiing and ski culture in Norway, past, present and future. NFS's aim is to build a stronger community between everyone involved within Norwegian skiing.

"The story is, among other things, about inclusion and diversity"

Project manager, Øyvind Hofstad Nysted, explains that the brand is designed to help everyone manage and develop the skiing history for new generations. "The story is, among other things, about inclusion and diversity, where Ski-Norge takes care of the breadth and ensures activity and opportunities for even more people, and about tradition and development, where it upholds the best of historical traditions," he says.

"Since 1908 - in ups and downs, in good weather and stormy weather, the Ski Association's ambition has been to contribute to creating skiing fun for everyone, no matter what. We will continue with that - together - and our new brand will strengthen and further develop the work in the face of future challenges and opportunities," concludes Øyvind Hofstad Nysted.

The implementation of the new visuals will be done gradually. This means that equipment that is still functional, but sporting the old logos, will not be replaced overnight. This sustainable, cost-efficient way, ensures that the Ski Association can put skiing first, which is the core of the NSF.
