On Saturday, August 10, the summer season will officially kick off with two competitions in the NorgesCup on the World Championship hills in Trondheim. The K94 and K124 hills will host even be host to some of Norway’s biggest names.

The week before the weekend of the tenth, a training camp for the national team will be held in Granåsen. It is a great opportunity for the team to get familiar with the facility, which will be the most important during next season. The girls also take the opportunity to gain some valuable competition experience and will compete in the NorgesCup.

Local hero to compete

The national team has, including local hero Eirin Maria Kvandal, has signed up to compete on both hills. Prosjekt 2026 talent, Kjersti Græsli, will also be present during the NorgesCup. Marie Liane will also be present

With the current lack of funds and sponsors, it’s quite possible that the team will only attend just one of the Summer Grand Prix’s. It’s an unfortunate trend that we have seen for years.
